Let’s practice speaking English every day with short, simple stories.
My Breakfast Routine
It is morning. The sun shines through the window. I go to the kitchen and wash my hands. I take a bowl and put some cereal in it. I pour milk slowly. The milk is cold and fresh. I sit at the table and eat my breakfast. The cereal is crunchy and sweet. Sometimes, I eat fruit with cereal. I drink a glass of orange juice. Breakfast gives me energy for the day. I feel happy and ready to learn and work.
My Weekend Routine
It’s Saturday morning. The sun shines bright. I wake up late and feel happy. I eat breakfast with my family. After that, I play outside. I ride my bike in the park. The birds sing and the air is fresh. In the afternoon, I read a book or watch a fun show. In the evening, i eat dinner and talk with my family. I feel relaxed and ready for the new week.
Read Books Every Day
I read books every day. Reading helps me learn new words and ideas. In the morning, I read a short story before work. Sometimes, I visit the library and borrow books. At home, I sit in a quiet place and read. Sometimes, I read with my family or friends. We talk about the story, and it ‘s fun. I also write new words in my notebook. Reading makes me happy, and it helps me improve my English. Every book is like a new adventure!
How Reading Books Grows Your Brain
Reading books is good for your brain. When you read, you see new words and ideas. Your brain works like a muscle, and reading makes it stronger. Books help you focus and think clearly. They also give you imagination and new knowledge. If you read in English, you learn the language and train your memory at the same time. Just ten minutes a day can make a big change. Reading is food for your brain and power for your mind.
Take Action Today
Do not wait for tomorrow. You must take action today. If you want to learn English, start now. Open your book, watch a short video, or learn five new words. A small step today will help your future. Every minute you use is a gift. If you wait, nothing will change. But if you act now, your English will grow. Today is the best day to start. Remember, action today makes a better tomorrow.
Weekend with Grandma
Every weekend, I go to my grandma’s house. She lives in a small home near the park. I ride my bike or take the bus. When I arrive, she gives me a big hug. We drink hot tea and eat cookies. She tells me stories from when she was a little girl. I help her water the flowers in her garden. We sit and watch the birds and butterflies. Sometimes, we bake cake together. She teaches me old songs. I love spending time with her. She is funny and kind. I feel safe and happy at her house. Grandma is very special to me.
Say it again
One time, I said something in English, but the person didn’t understand. I felt bad. I wanted to stop speaking. But then I remembered: it’s okay to repeat. I smiled and said it again, slower and clearer. This time, they understood. We finished our talk and even joked a little. That moment taught me something big – don’t give up when someone doesn’t understand. Just say it again. Try another word. Use your hands or point. Communication is more than words. It’s patience and kindness. Now, I speak with more care. I listen better too. If someone repeats, I smile and wait. Speaking is not about perfect words. It’s about connection. So speak, repeat, and try again. You’re learning – and that’s the most important thing.
