Let’s practice speaking English every day with short, simple stories.
Staying Motivated
This afternoon, I want to skip exercise because I felt tired. But I remembered that discipline is stronger than an excuse. I put on my shoes and went for a quick run. At first, my breathing was heavy, but soon I found my pace. The fresh air filled my lungs and cleared my thoughts. By the time I returned home, I felt proud. Motivation does not come by waiting-it comes by moving. Today, I proved to myself that small steps create big progress.
Making Quiche
Today, I tried making quiche (/kiːʃ/). I whisked egg with milk, added spinach (/ˈspɪnɪtʃ/), cheese, and onions, then poured the mixture into a crust. While it baked, the smell filled my kitchen with warmth. When I took the first bite, it was soft, creamy, and full of flavor. I felt proud that I could create something that looked like cafe food. Cooking teaches me creativity, because every ingredient changes the taste. I thought “Food is a way to experiment and share joy”
Doing Exercise
This morning, I went jogging around the park. At first, my legs felt heavy, and i wanted to stop. But I push myself to continue, breathing deeply. With each step, my body grew lighter, and my mind became calmer. Exercise reminds me that strength is not only physical – it is also mental. When I finished my run, sweat covered my face, but I felt proud of my effort. Doing exercise is my way of building both health and discipline.
Physics & Math
In class today, we discussed momentum (/moʊˈmentəm/). The teacher showed how a moving ball carries energy that depends on mass and velocity. Later, in math, we solved problems with formulas to calculate speed and distance. At first, the symbols confused me, but when i imagined a train slowing down, the number suddenly told a clear story. Physics and math felt like two languages describing the same truth. I wrote: “Numbers help me see the hidden motion in the world.”
My Evening with Music
Tonight, I listened to classical music while reading. The soft harmony of the instruments made me feel peaceful. I closed my eyes, and the melody painted pictures in my mind. Sometimes I imagined flying over mountains, and sometimes I saw myself walking by the sea. Music is more than sound – it is a language of the heart. Even without words, it tells a story that I can understand. Every time I listen, I feel inspired. Music is my best comparision
A Day of Football
Today, I played football at the park. The weather was hot, but I was so excited to join my friends. We passed the ball quickly, running across the field. Suddenly, the ball came to me. I kicked hard, and it flew straight into the goal. Everyone shouted with joy. Football teaches me teamwork and patience. Even when I fall, I stand up again and keep trying. Today’s game reminded me that practice is the key to improvement. Foolball makes me strong inside and out.
My Journey with Music
This morning, I played my favourite song while clearing my room. The rhythm (/ˈrɪðəm/) made me dance without even thinking. Music always gives me energy when I feel tired. I love how different instruments create such beautiful harmony. Sometimes, I write short lyrics to express my feelings. Even when I don’t have the right words, music helps me speak through sound. It teaches me patience (/ˈpeɪʃəns/) and creativity (/ˌkriːeɪˈtɪvɪti/). Every note reminds me that beauty can grow from effort and emotion
My Morning Exercise
I woke up early to go jogging(/ˈdʒɒɡɪŋ/) around the lake. The air was fresh, and the sunrise(/ˈsʌnraɪz/) painted the sky with soft colors. At first, my legs felt heavy, but after a few minutes, I found my rhythm (/ˈrɪðəm/). Exercise clears my mind and fills me with motivation. I know it’s not easy to wake up early every day, but discipline (/ˈdɪsəplɪn/) builds strength. When I finished my run, I felt proud and alive. Every step is a promise to myself to keep moving forward.
Cooking Spaghetti
Today, I cooked spaghetti (/spəˈɡeti/) for lunch. I boiled the pasta and prepared a sauce with tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil. When I mixed everything together, the colors looked beautiful – red, yellow, and green. The taste reminded me of the trip to Italy. I realized cooking is like painting; every ingredient adds something special. As I ate, I felt proud that I had made a simple but delicious meal. I wrote: “Food is art that we can eat.”
Friction
Today, we learned about friction (/ˈfrɪkʃən/). We are explained how it resists motion between two surfaces. We did an experiment with a wooden block sliding on sandpaper. It moved slowly because of friction was high. I imagined how car tires grip the road the same way. Then we discussed energy and how friction turns motion into heat. Science makes me see ordinary things in new ways. I wrote: “Every movement has a reason, and science helps me find it”
